Akiko Takizawa : une des lauréates du prix HSBC 2014

Akiko Takizawa vit et travaille à Londres. Elle est née au Japon en 1971 et entame des études en arts appliqués en Grande-Bretagne. Elle obtient de nombreux prix dont le Bloomberg New Contemporaries en 2006. L’artiste n’a pas étudié la photographie mais son oncle lui a donné goût pour cet art. « La photographie est pour moi un lien entre le corps et l’esprit ».
